The Hotel
The is situated on the southern boundary
of the Carmarthenshire seaside village of Ferryside. The village nestles
on the Three Rivers estuary of Carmarthen Bay. The hotel enjoys views
of Llanstephan and its ancient castle to the west and of Carmarthen
Bay towards Caldy Island and Tenby to the south west. Ferryside grew
from the now non-operational Ferry crossing on the river Tywi, on the
ancient pilgrims route to St David's Cathedral. It is uncommercialised,
peaceful and quiet; the ideal getaway for a perfect weekend (or longer)
break. It is also, due to its' proximity to Carmarthen, Llanelli and
other centres, an ideal corporate meeting place. Kidwelly, with its'
Norman castle, industrial heritage museum, Pembrey Country Park and
Motorsport centre, Airfield and proposed horse racing course all lie
within approximately 10 minutes travelling time. The National Botanical
Gardens, Laugharne (famous for Dylan Thomas' Boathouse) and many Pembrokeshire
attractions are about a half hour drive.
The hotel offers 15 en-suite rooms, built and furbished
in 2002 to the modern high standard of expectation.
